The main purpose of the event is to give guidance to the grade 11 and 12 on their career choice after completing their school.

RVTC showed to be the most admired institution in the country as Mr. Raphael Haingura gave presentation on TVET. Haingura outline the need within the country of ensuring that unemployment is something of the past. “As much as we need doctors and lawyers, we also need artisans. Development of the country is through infrastructures, new technology and many more. Infrastructure is all about artisan, people who were trained in TVET” added Haingura.

Real examples were used during his presentation by bringing the workforce who completed from RVTC as they are now employed by these schools as executive secretaries. The interest of joining TVET grew high among the learners of various schools as they were asking for application forms.

“Make TVET a choice not an option” concluded Haingura
