In the same vain, RVTC’s Head of Trainee Support assured NIDA that the Centre will try their best to prepare trainees according to the industry’s needs. He urged NIDA to be advising the Centre when it comes to the training gaps. “As a training institution, you give us the menu and we prepare the meal based on what you have given us. We rely on your guidance and support” added Mr. Gwala.
Mr. Mushongo who is the direct supervisor for all the trainees could not hide his satisfactory regarding the trainee’s conduct. Due to State of Emergency restrictions on gathering, trainees were called in small numbers for the meeting and they couldn’t hide the assistance they get from their direct supervisor. Trainees are given accommodation with water and electricity as well as allowances.
The meeting ended with a tour to the workshop before the RVTC delegates drove back to Rundu. This was a successful engagement as declared by both parties. The relationship will continue for the better of Namibia.
